MASSAPEQUA PARK, NY—Zim Zari California Coastal Grill has been serving California-Mexican fare on Merrick Road in Massapequa Park for over a decade. But the eatery, located in Southgate Shopping Center, is now closed. The current owners announced the closure on Facebook in January, a year after the death of its original owner.

The Giannedeo family wrote the news in a post on January 21.

"This will be our last post unfortunately. After Keith's passing the business has been sold. The new owners will be reopening under the new name Vida. Our family would like to thank everyone for the business and friendship to Keith over the past 12 years."
