Arlington Residents Advance to State Youth Wrestling Championships

One group heads to the NY-USA Youth State Championships this weekend, another to the NYWAY State Tournament March 18-19.

MID HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Local boys have been advancing in regional and national wrestling competitions.

Aidan Miller of Cortlandt Manor, Dillion Arrick and Timmy Bova of Arlington placed first at the 2017 NY-USA Super Regionals to advance to 2017 NY-USA Youth State Championships this Sunday in Binghamton, NY.

At the at NYWAY Hudson Regional Qualifier, Landon Miller of Cortlandt Manor, PJ Duke of Carmel, Dillion Arrick and Timmy Bova of Arlington, and Aidan Miller of Cortlandt Manor placed first. They advance to the 2017 NYWAY State Tournament in Syracuse, to be held March 18-19.

Their accomplishments are a product of hours of wrestling, practicing, supporting each other and competing throughout the year as a team.
