Bridge Painting To Close I-84 Lanes In Dutchess County

DUTCHESS COUNTY, NY — The state Department of Transportation is painting bridges along interstate highways in the region and wants motorists to be aware of them.

Through Tuesday, April 30, there could be lane reductions along Interstate 84 in Dutchess County.

The DOT said that one lane will close in each direction along Interstate 84 between Exit 44 (State Route 52) in the town of East Fishkill and Exit 46 (U.S. Route 9) in the town of Fishkill.

Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver’s license.
