Visitation, Service for Michael K. Mulry

Michael K. Mulry, 54, of Saugerties, NY and formerly of Ossining, NY passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, January 29, 2017.

Born on February 18, 1962 in Ossining to Michael and Lorraine Mulry.

For the past 30 years, Michael resided at his beloved Linnabary House in Saugerties, a group home for adults with special needs. He enjoyed spending time with his family, trips to the Bronx Zoo, listening to music, reading, ice cream and watching CNN. Some of his happiest times were spent at the Milford, CT shoreline and on the beaches of Cape Cod, MA.

Michael was predeceased by his parents Michael and Lorraine. He is survived by: Sue and Bill Loughlin of West Bridgewater, MA, George and Rosemary Mulry of Pleasantville, NY, Cecilia Mulry of Pawling, NY, Louise and Jerome Fuetsch of Fairfax, CA, Laura and Joe Warning of Millbrook, NY and Margie and Steve Fischer of Hudson, OH. Michael is also survived by thirteen nieces and nephews; and fifteen great-nieces and nephews and countless cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hudson Valley Special Olympics in Michael’s memory.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 3 from 3:00-8:00pm at Dorsey Funeral Home, 14 Emwilton Place, Ossining. Family and friends will meet for a Mass of Christian Burial that will be offered on Saturday, February 4 at 10:30am at St. Augustine Church, 381 North Highland Avenue, Ossining. Interment will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery.
