Cortlandt, Peekskill Gas Prices Still Inching Up

I don’t know about you but the price of a gallon of gas in my neighborhood is still inching up.

And guess what? Time magazine thinks so, too.

An article titled “Don’t Look Now But Gas Prices Are Up 70 Cents Per Gallon in 2016” says that in mid-February the national average for a gallon of gas was under $1.70

Writer Brad Tuttle said prices have been going up about 1 cent over the past month with some states seeing a 10-cent jump in a week’s time.

Still in all, gas is cheaper than it was when it was close to $4.
