2 Burglars Break Into Extra Space Storage In New Hyde Park: Police

Multiple storage units were broken into and two unknown males left the business through a side door, Nassau police said.

NEW HYDE PARK, NY — A pair of burglars broke into some units at Extra Space Storage in New Hyde Park to remove property early Saturday, Nassau police said.

Officers were called to the Jericho Turnpike location and it was later determined two unknown males left the business through a side door carrying three bags at around 4:15 a.m., according to police.

Multiple storage units in the facility had been broken into, and the subjects left the scene in an unknown direction, police said.
