A New York State (NYS) 18 Hour&nbsp;Concealed Carry Firearm Safety Course covers essential topics to ensure safe and responsible firearm use with a NRA Certified and Insured Instructor.
Classroom Instruction:
<ul><li>Firearm Safety Rules: Basic guidelines for handling and storing firearms.</li><li>Basic Pistol Operation: Understanding firearm parts and how they work.</li><li>Ammunition Knowledge: Different types of ammunition and their uses.</li><li>Legal Requirements: NYS laws on concealed carry and use of force.</li><li>Situational Awareness: Staying alert to avoid danger.</li><li>Conflict Avoidance: Strategies to de-escalate threats.</li></ul>
