Charges In String Of New Hyde Park Area Burglaries: Police

A North New Hyde Park man has been charged in connection with burglaries at a home, convenience stores and a vape shop, police say.

NORTH NEW HYDE PARK, NY — A North New Hyde Park man was charged Saturday in connection with a series of burglaries, including a home, two convenience stores, a variety mart, and a vape shop since the end of December, Nassau police said.

Between Dec. 29, and Jan. 13, police say Marc Gagliano burglarized a home on New Hyde Park Road in North New Hyde Park, Janie’s Variety Store in Herricks, Ultra Mini Mart in Mineola, Crown Convenience Mart in North New Hyde Park, and Mineola Cigar and Vape.

Gagliano, 39, has been charged with five counts of third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal
mischief, and petit larceny.

He pleaded not guilty at his arraignment on Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead, and was released on "monetary conditions," according to online court records.
