Hillside Library Thanked for Holiday Toy Drive

The program collects new, unused toys for children in Winthrop-University Hospital.

Patrons and staff of the Hillside Library in New Hyde Park were thanked for participating in Sen. Jack Martins’ (R-Mineola) annual holiday toy drive.

The toy drive is an annual program that collects new, unused toys to benefit children in Winthrop-University Hospital. Martins visited the library to pick-up the toys and personally thank the students for their efforts.

“Hillside Library’s patrons and staff were extremely generous and their efforts will make many children very happy,” Martins said. “ I appreciate their participation in this program and thank them for their support.”
