3 Stabbed In Violent Early Sunday Morning Melee On North Ave.

New Rochelle Police Department detectives are asking for the public's help with any information about the violence.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Police are asking for help finding a suspect who fled the scene of a triple stabbing in New Rochelle.

New Rochelle police say that on Sunday, around 4:18 a.m., officers were sent to a report of a large, disorderly group on the 200 block of North Ave.

While police were clearing the group, they found three men who each had stab wounds. One man was stabbed in the leg, another in the back, and the third was stabbed in the back and abdomen.

Police say a suspect in the stabbings had already fled the scene.

The three men were all taken to local hospitals, where two were taken to surgery and are currently listed as being in critical but stable condition, according to authorities. The man with the leg wound was discharged from the hospital.

The names of the men stabbed are being withheld at this time.

New Rochelle Police Department detectives are investigating the early morning disturbance. Anyone with information about the stabbings is asked to call New Rochelle police.
