Argument At Nightclub Led To Double Stabbing, Suspect Still At Large

An early morning stabbing that sent two to the hospital started with a disagreement at La Clave nightclub, New Rochelle police said.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A stabbing that started with a fight at a Main Street nightclub left two victims in the hospital and a suspect still at large, according to the New Rochelle Police Department.

On Sunday, minutes after 4 a.m., New Rochelle police were called to Maple Avenue on a report of an assault.

Officers arriving on the scene found two men, each with stab wounds. One victim was stabbed on the top of his head, and the other in his upper chest. Fortunately, doctors determined that the injuries were "non-life threatening."

Investigators believe the attack stemmed from a dispute that occurred earlier at the La Clave nightclub on Main Street, where the two victims and the suspect got into a disagreement.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned Hispanic male, approximately 5ft 9in tall, wearing a white shirt and blue jeans.
