Enjoy Mild Weekend, Cooler Temps Ahead: New Rochelle Weather

Friday will turn sunny and breezy, with highs in the high 50s -- still above average.

"That leads into Saturday… which looks absolutely beautiful for mid March," says Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather. "Lots of sunshine… and temps into the low 60s… what more could you ask for in March? We suppose it may be a bit underwhelming after hitting 80° this week."

Saturday's sunshine will make way for clouds on Sunday, but it may not rain until late, when a series of weak storms comes through. Temps will drop down into the 30s Saturday night, but overall, it'll just be mild.

That is, until the start of the work week when a rainy Monday doesn't let the high get up to 50.

"Many times in the spring, following a warm day, a series of gray, damp and dreary days will follow," according to AccuWeather Chief Meteorologist Elliot Abrams. "However, this time it will be different with sunshine and only slightly cooler conditions in store late this week and into part of this weekend."
