Heavy Rain, Fog and Wind to Impact New Rochelle's Evening Commute

Weather will be an issue for commuting today, but the weekend looks better.

For those of us who have to drive home from work today, it could be far worse. We could be dealing with snow. After all, it is February.

All around the Hudson Valley, Wednesday evening commuters will be slogging through heavy rain, patchy fog and winds. The entire state is looking at between 1-2 inches of rain.

The high Wednesday will be in the mid- to upper-50s and it will dip down to the upper 40s overnight.

For Thursday, you may have to contend with some rain and patchy fog with high temperatures in the low 50s, but the forecast for Thursday night calls for a slight chance of snow with temps in the low 30s.

Fortunately, the forecast for Friday and through the weekend, the skies will be mostly clear and the daytime temperatures will be in the low- to mid-40s..
