Last Snow of Season Friday? Not So Fast, Lower Hudson Valley

The morning commute in Westchester, Putnam and Rockland counties could be slushy.

With weather, timing is everything.

Friday morning’s commute will likely see some snow, leading to slushy conditions on the roads.

The National Weather Service said light snowfall will come to the lower Hudson Valley after midnight and end in most spots by midday Friday.

Total accumulations could be as much as an inch.

Temperatures Thursday night will dip into the 20s and will rise Friday to the mid-30s, though wind gusts will make it feel cooler.

After some thickening clouds and a high around 40 Saturday, there is another chance of precipitation Saturday night into Sunday.

And yes, it could well be in the form of snow. We’ll have more information on that Friday.
