"She is being treated for obviously being abandoned, left in a building, being left in the cold and some other issues, but at this time we believe she is in stable condition," Yonkers Police Department First Deputy Chief Joseph Monaco told New York City ABC News-affiliate WABC 7.

A good Samaritan reportedly wrapped the infant in a blanket. Police told NBC news that the baby girl is in stable condition as of early Wednesday afternoon.
