High winds and drenching rains caused many homes in southern Westchester to lose power.

Lohud.com said the strongest winds hit Larchmont around 11 p.m., gusting to 67 mph.

New Rochelle’s fire department told lohud.com that there were 30 calls from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. relating to downed power lines.
