Plus, light snow or snow is in the forecast for Wednesday.

What does all this mean for the lower Hudson Valley?

For Tuesday night, Rockland, Putnam and Westchester counties can expect light snow before midnight, with snow after midnight or 1 a.m.

New snow accumulations range from 1 inch to 3 inches, with less expected the further north you are. Temperatures overnight will be in the mid- to upper-20s, though you will need to factor in the wind chill.

Wednesday’s forecast calls for light snow or snow in the morning, with only the White Plains area looking at up to 2 inches.

Highs for Wednesday will be in the upper-30s to lower-40s, though with the wind chill it will feel colder.

All but the northern part of Westchester is looking at a slight chance of snow Wednesday night. Temperatures will dip to the low- to mid-20s overnight.
