We tell you when to expect the frozen precipitation.

A light snow is forecast to overspread the lower Hudson Valley Sunday afternoon into Monday.

Throughout the area, no more than 2 inches is expected. Long Island and points toward the northeast will likely see more.

AccuWeather Meteorologist Brian Thompson said the recent warmth will make it difficult for the snow to build up on road surfaces during the daylight hours.

“Snow will have a hard time sticking to roadways, especially during the daylight hours when temperatures will be above freezing,” he said.
