Touring Haunted Houses For Halloween

AAA recently released an article about New York State's haunted houses.

NEW ROCHELLE, NY—If you're looking for a hauntingly good time this Halloween season, you may want to follow these upstate New York recommendations by AAA.

The article included haunted houses, bed and breakfasts, museums and inns that might make for one spooky road trip. One of the haunted houses suggested by the article is Miss Fanny’s Victorian Party House
in Wappinger’s Falls. The 19th-century farmhouse which the article says features an "embalming table in the living room, a coffin in the attic and the occasional zombie mannequin in the hallway." Seventeen spirits supposedly haunt the house.

In Johnstown, the Knox Mansion has so much paranormal activity that it scared expert ghost hunters away.

Two of the mansion’s 42 rooms are available as a bed-and-breakfast, and tours are offered for a fee.
