WEATHER UPDATE: Chance of Thunderstorms, Rain on Friday

It’s been a beautiful week of weather thus far and we’re this close to the weekend but before we get there, we’ll have to deal with gray skies across Westchester County on Friday with a chance of showers and a thunderstorm or two.
The National Weather Service says there is a chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms during the day and Friday evening.

High temperatures will reach the mid 70s Friday, with some gusty winds thrown in.
The showers end around midnight and will lead to a pretty perfect autumn weekend.

On Saturday, mostly clear skies and temperatures in the lower 60s, and it will again be a bit gusty with winds up to 15 mph.
As is the case this time of year, the nights will be chilly, with temps in the mid 40s to low 50s.
On Sunday, temps rebound into the upper 60s with more sunshine predicted.
Columbus Day looks to be even warmer, with sunny skies and highs in the low 70s, according to the NWS.
