Wind Chill Warning Now in Effect, Life-Threatening Wind Chills Expected for All Westchester County

The southern portion of the county saw its wind chill watch upgraded to a warning.

As if you didn’t already think it was going to get dangerously cold, what had been a wind chill watch for southern Westchester County has now been upgraded to a Wind Chill Warning.

The National Weather Service issued the warning early Saturday morning.

What the regional can expect is “dangerous to potentially life-threatening wind chills,” from 25 to 32 degrees below zero due to temperatures droping to as low as 6 below zero.

This means the lower Hudson Valley is under a warning
