NORTHPORT, NY — Grady and Greta, and Graylyn and Little Plum, all 4 months old, are the Northport Cat Rescue Association's Kittens of the Week.

Three of these four are siblings, and one was found as an orphan but made herself quite at home with her new family, said Lora Wild, a volunteer with the rescue.

Grady is a gray male kitten with Russian blue-like fur. He is bonded to Greta, a female, long-haired tabby with a fluffy tail. Graylyn is a female, long-haired tabby, as well, with an adorable fluff of a tail, too. She is bonded to her best friend, Little Plum, a female tabby.

"The three siblings were found in a backyard under some outdoor furniture covers, with their courageous mom protecting them," Wild said. "Mom, who was named Cathy, is the most docile cat, with long beautiful fur, and is currently in foster care. Her babies have similar personalities, sweet, calm, and silly. They love to cuddle. They love affection. They love each other."

Wild said Little Plum, the orphan, came along with a "sassy and fiery personality."

"We were not sure how it would go. Grady, Greta and especially Graylyn welcomed her into their hearts with open arms," Wild said. "Little Plum is a little firecracker, with her fun personality and sweet demeanor."

They were also fostered with a calm dog and all got along, according to Wild.

"This is a very special bunch of kittens. They are currently curled up together at Petco Huntington. They love visitors and will stick their little paws out through their habitats for some contact. If you are looking for a pair, these fur babies are incredible."

They are spayed and neutered, have all their shots, are litter box-trained, micro-chipped and FELV/FIV negative.
