Haverstraw Man Accused Of 2 Burglaries: Police

Both happened in the past week, police said.

HAVERSTRAW, NY — A 22-year-old Haverstraw man is accused of committing two commercial burglaries in the village in the past week, police said.

Haverstraw police charged Brawian Olivero Duran with two counts of felony third-degree burglary, misdemeanor petty larceny, and possession of burglar tools.

The burglaries were at restaurants in the village, Chief John Gould Jr. told Patch.

Duran was arraigned Thursday evening in the Village of Haverstraw Justice Court where he was released on his own recognizance, police said.
