Rockland Man Accused Of 2 Business Burglaries By 2 Police Departments

He was sent to the Rockland County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 cash bail.

STONY POINT, NY — A West Haverstraw man faces charges connected to two burglaries in Rockland County.

Stony Point police said they were advised Friday that someone had entered a commercial trailer and taken two demolition saws valued at $2,500 each. After investigation, officers arrested Anthony Mancini, 32, and charged him with third-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.

He was released on his own recognizance and did not show up for his scheduled Tuesday court date, police said.

Then, on Wednesday, Mancini was arrested by Haverstraw police in connection with a burglary that occurred Saturday at a business in Pomona. He was charged with third-degree burglary and third-degree grand larceny.

He was arraigned in the Town of Haverstraw Justice Court and sent to the Rockland County Correctional Facility in lieu of $50,000 cash bail.
