NYACK, NY — As a way to celebrate the 248 birthday of our country and the continued support of our loyal customers, the Nyack Farmers Market will give free summer fare and a beverage to the first 100 customers starting at 11:00am.

The first hot dog will be served by Village of Nyack Mayor Joe Rand.

The components of our classic summer meal were supplied by some of the market's favorite vendors including Debbie Campanelli of Campanelli's Poultry Farm, Joey Katona of Joey's Market, Preston Powell of Teagevity, and Talitha Jones of Edgwick Farms. Chef Michelle Timothee of La Talaye will staff the grill.

Chef Michelle has been piling up recognitions for her culinary mastery. Last week she was honored by the Ayiti Community Trust at their Annual Gala on Saturday, October 14, 2023 as a chef and restaurateur. At the same time, she made it to the final round of the TV Chef's and Top Chef winner Carla Hall's Favorite Chef competition to benefit the James Beard Foundation.
