Rockland's Kivlehan Heading To Olympics To Play Baseball For US

WEST NYACK, NY — A West Nyack native will be heading to the Tokyo Olympics representing the United States as a member of the baseball team.

Patrick Kivlehan, 31, the former Rutgers star, is currently playing with the El Paso Chihuahuas, a Triple-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, the Journal News reported.

He will be flying out Tuesday to train with his Olympic teammates in North Caroline before going to Japan.

The 2021 Olympics are slated to begin July 23.
