South Orangetown School Budget Passes With 70% Of The Vote

ORANGETOWN, NY — Voters in the South Orangetown school district went to the polls Tuesday and elected new people to the Board of Education.

They also approved a $108.8 million budget for 2023-24 with 70 percent of the vote, district officials said on the website.

  • Katie Gravino: 1534
  • Leon Jacobs (incumbent): 1495

Seat 2

  • Dawn Kitz: 1470
  • Diana Korabel: 1543
