Suicide At Palisades Center: Clarkstown Police

They remind people about the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline, which provides 24/7, free and confidential support.

WEST NYACK, NY — A woman who fell from the fourth floor of the Palisades Center Thursday morning apparently committed suicide, according to Clarkstown police.

Police said they were called about a fall at the mall at 9:45 a.m. They located a deceased adult female on the lower level.

"Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of the deceased," Clarkstown police Det. Norman Peters said. "We would like to remind everyone that services are available such as, The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. The Lifeline provides 24/7, free and confidential support for people in distress, prevention and crisis resources for you or your loved ones, and best practices for professionals."
