Car Crossing Tracks At Peekskill Riverfront Smashed By Train

No one on the train was injured, Peekskill Volunteer Ambulance Corps officials said.

PEEKSKILL, NY — A Metro-North train smashed into a car on the tracks at the Peekskill waterfront at 3:25 p.m. Monday.

No one on the train was injured and the driver of the car, its only occupant, refused medical attention at the scene, according to officials at the Peekskill Volunteer Ambulance Corps, which had sent four ambulances to the riverfront.
