Cortlandt Holds Open Call For Student Artists

The next exhibit at town hall will feature artwork from Cortlandt students in kindergarten up to 12th grade.

CORTLANDT, NY — There is still time for “budding artists” to apply to be included in the next art exhibition at Cortlandt Town Hall.

The exhibition, titled “Budding Artists,” will focus on the following themes: springtime, awakening, renewal and the natural world.

All current town of Cortlandt students in grades from kindergarten to 12th in the 2022-23 school year are welcome to submit up to three works for consideration.

The submission deadline is Friday, Dec. 30.

Eligible mediums are painting, photography, works on paper and textiles.

Artist selections will be announced Wednesday, Jan. 4, and the exhibition will run from Feb. 6 to May 4.
