Cortlandt Presents 1st Repair Café For Free Fixes

Volunteer repair coaches will be available to make all possible fixes free of charge.

CORTLANDT, NY — If you have any small appliances, lamps and such that need to be repaired, you should bring them to the first-ever Repair Café scheduled for Saturday, March 16 in the town of Cortlandt.

Sponsored by the town of Cortlandt and the village of Croton-on-Hudson, the Repair Café will have volunteer repair coaches available to make all possible fixes free of charge.

Organizers said attendees will be limited to two items and will be required to register through this link by Friday, March 8.

Registration will ensure someone will be at the event who can repair your item.

People will have to stay with their items because drop-offs are not allowed.

The inspiration is to help preserve your appliances, furniture and clothing, while keeping these items out of the waste stream.

Repair Café will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, March 16 at the Muriel H. Morabito Community Center, located at 29 Westbrook Drive in Cortlandt Manor.
