Cortlandt To Remove Damaged, Dead Trees In Verplanck Park

CORTLANDT, NY — The town of Cortlandt will be removing several trees at the Cortlandt waterfront park in Verplanck.

Officials said the trees — which are posted for removal — will be removed in about 10 days.

The trees are already dead or severely diseased and pose a public hazard, and the town’s arborist advised that they be removed for public safety.
