Hudson Line Experiencing Delays Friday, Suspension Lifted

The Metro-North Railroad had temporarily suspended service on part of the Hudson Line due to flooding.

HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Metro-North Railroad’s Hudson Line had temporarily suspended service between Peekskill and Poughkeepsie because of flooding.

Service has been restored, but customers are currently experiencing 10-15 minute delays because of flooding and high winds.

Three extra trains to Croton-Harmon and Poughkeepsie depart Grand Central between 1:18 PM and 2:18 PM

  • Friday, December 23
  • 1:18 PM first stop Croton-Harmon, then makes all stops to Poughkeepsie (except Manitou).
  • 1:50 PM stopping at Yankees-E 153rd St, then makes all stops to Croton-Harmon.
  • 2:18 PM first stop Croton-Harmon, then makes all stops to Poughkeepsie (except Manitou).

Extra Haverstraw-Ossining Ferry departures connect with the 2:51 and 3:21 PM trains from Grand Central.
Extra Newburgh-Beacon Ferry departures connect with the 2:43, 3:18, and 3:48 PM trains from Grand Central.
