HUDSON VALLEY, NY — Most of the Hudson Valley could get 2-4 inches of snow Tuesday and parts could see up to 8 inches, in the first of at least two bouts of snow in the next five days.

"In the midst of a very active wintry weather pattern, Mother Nature has the ability to throw curve balls and sneak up on you. Tuesday is very likely one of those times," said Alex Marra and Bill Potter of Hudson Valley Weather.

"This could be a very sneaky little system, that could end up with quite a respectable snowacross parts of the region," Hudson Valley Weather said.
