VERPLANCK, NY — A nonprofit arts center is set to open Thursday in a former Catholic school.

The KinoSaito arts center will be in the former St. Patrick's Catholic School building in Verplanck, Untapped New York reported.

The center is located at 115 7th St. in Verplanck.

Two galleries will have rotating exhibits, one of which will showcase Kikuo Saito's work and the other, contemporary art across disciplines.

The art center also has a multipurpose theater/performance space, two studios for a rotating roster of resident artists, a classroom for arts education and public programs, a café and a garden.
