One Lane Closure Scheduled on U.S. Highway 9 in Philipstown

PHILIPSTOWN, NY — One lane is expected to be closed along U.S. Highway 9 between East Mountain Road North and Old Albany Post Road North for the rest of August, NY transportation officials announced.

Bridge maintenance activities will run Wednesday through Aug. 31, weather permitting.

Northbound and southbound motorists are urged to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of your driver's license.
