Peekskill BID Launches “Take It Out On Us” Campaign

The Peekskill Business Improvement District launched a cooperative marketing campaign to support downtown restaurants who are offering take out service and curbside delivery. The campaign comes after the City of Peekskill passed a local ordinance allowing for free 15 minute parking in front of restaurants exclusively for the pick up of food and beverages.

“We are doing everything we can to help businesses during this difficult time. We hope the colorful comic book graphics will make it easier to find parking and maybe brighten some one's day. Customers can drive up, and have their food delivered right to their car, thereby minimizing contact,” said Bill Powers the Executive Director of the Peekskill Business Improvement District.

“Take It Out On Us” is designed to collectively promote the downtown restaurants who are offering specials on meals and beverage take out service. The BID installed the signs at metered spots in Downtown Peekskill on Friday.

The concept was developed by The Shop, a newly formed creative company based in Peekskill, NY.

Participating Peekskill restaurants should be contacted directly since open times and days of service change without notice. Not all restaurants are open every day. Here are the participating restaurants and eateries:
