Peekskill, Cortlandt To Hold Meetings For Week Of May 8

PEEKSKILL-CORTLANDT, NY — Here’s a look ahead at public meetings scheduled for the week of May 8.

In Peekskill, the Committee of the Whole and the Common Council are scheduled to meet at 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., respectively, Monday, May 8.

The agenda for the Committee of the Whole, which can be viewed here, includes the authorization to post the Peekskill Volunteer Ambulance Workers LOSAP points, street closures for Ozland Festival and Peekskill Brewery and liaison reports.

There was no posted agenda for the Common Council meeting. When it is posted, it can be viewed here.

The Peekskill Planning Commission will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 9.

The agenda, which can be viewed here, includes a continued public hearing on a final site plan approval of a new two-family dwelling on Mountain View Road, a public hearing on a new three-story mixed-used residential building at 979 Main St. and a public hearing on a two-story 16-unite residential building at 3 Woods End Circle.

Peekskill City Hall is at 840 Main St. in Peekskill.

In Cortlandt, the Town Board will hold a work session at 6 p.m. Monday, May 8.

The agenda, which can be viewed here, includes an executive session on interviews for CAC/Open Space chairman and a review of the May Town Board draft agenda.
