Pet Of The Week: Kaylee

Kaylee is a lovebug with people and needs a committed owner.

From A Good Dog Rescue

Kaylee is 3 years young, likely a white boxer/bulldog mix, and weighs about 50 pounds. Kaylee was rescued from a high kill shelter and brought up to New York to the doggy daycare. Unfortunately, she struggles to fit into the daycare environment. The shelter said that if she was brought back she would be euthanized, and that was NOT an option.

Poor Kaylee was never socialized with other dogs and does not know how to play. She does not show aggression but she can be pushy and does not understand how to communicate with other dogs in play groups. She has to spend much of her time alone, which is no way to live.

Kaylee is such a love bug and adores children and all people. Kaylee would do best in a home with no pets. She could potentially do well with a calm, neutral, and well-socialized dog to learn from but since she is dog selective, a meet and greet is required. She has been working with a trainer for her leash reactivity and would need an experienced owner to help continue her training. She needs a hero, a committed adopter that will love her, understand her and help her to learn and grow.
