Jordyn Frias is an artist. The walls of Fox Meadow High School are adorned with his beautiful

paintings.


“When I first saw his art, I was taken aback,” said Jessica Yacco, one of Jordyn’s teachers at Fox
Meadow. “It's amazing.”

Jordyn was honored as a PNW BOCES Student of Distinction at the Peekskill board meeting on
March 19. His hard work, talent, and ability to help others made him stand out.


Jordyn has been a student at Fox Meadow High School for the past two school years. Teachers
quickly became aware of his artistic talent when they saw his luscious landscapes. Jordyn also
enjoys carpentry and the creativity that comes with building things. He puts his mind to his
academic work as well, and always strives to succeed.

Jordyn is also respectful, diligent, and helpful to everyone, according to his teachers. His strong
work ethic, creativity, and kindness to others make him a perfect candidate for Student of
Distinction.
