She was born July 24, 1923 in Columbus, OH to Valery & Natalie (Beliakof) Demianof.
Josephine worked for the Herald Statesman as a paste-up artist for many years.

She was pre-deceased by her husband Michael and son James.
Josephine is survived by her son Michael (Karen), daughter Kathleen Drohan, grandchildren James Drohan Jr. (Catherine), Frank Drohan (Kristina), Erin Perry (Michael), Patrick Sweeney, Sean Sweeney, great-grandchildren Joseph, Anthony, Rose, Katelynn, James, Mikhaila, Mackenzie, Madison, MiaSerafina, 3 great-great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews.

She will be reposing Sun. 2-5pm at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining, interment will be in Cape Cod.
