Briarcliff Bears Head to Regional Semifinals Wednesday

Briarcliff High School’s boys basketball team won the Section I Class B title Feb. 27 at the Westchester County Center.

The team also made it to the section final in 2015, but this year, the outcome was different; the Bears earned a decisive 53-42 win vs. No. 2 seed Putnam Valley and improved the season record to 23-1.

The Bears will face the winner of the Section 9 championship on March 2 at Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh for the regional semifinals.
