Join the Westchester Community for Humanistic Judaism for a Yom Kippur service led by Rabbi Frank Tamburello. There will be a performance of Max Bruch's Kol Nidre by Prof. Ruth Levy-Schudroff and other music by the WCHJ choir. We welcome people of all ages, experiences, and sexual orientations. Please send the names of your dearly departed that you would like to be remembered during the service to info@wchj.org. Break-the-fast refreshments will be provided after the service. Contribute to the time capsule! Help us celebrate 2024 in 2049! 
As part of Sleepy Hollow’s 150th anniversary, we’re creating a time capsule that will be buried in front of Village Hall! Donate special small items that can be placed in the capsule that represent life today in Sleepy Hollow. There will be a collection box staffed by the Historical Society of Sleepy Hollow and Tarrytown. The capsule will be opened in 2049 at Sleepy Hollow’s 175th anniversary celebration!

We are extremely proud and excited to present Wu Han, Philip Setzer and David Finckel in the opening concert of our 71st
season on Saturday, Sept. 14, 2024, 7:30 p.m.&nbsp;They have been pillars of the chamber music community for decades, both as performing artists (piano, violin and cello, respectively) and as committed musical leaders dedicated to supporting and developing the art form.
Han and Finckel, who are happily married, have been co-artistic directors of the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center since 2004.&nbsp;Finckel and Setzer were members of the recently-retired, legendary Emerson String Quartet and Setzer is now artistic director of the Cleveland Institute of Music’s String Chamber Music Program.

As a piano trio, they have inspired acclaim like this: “It used to be the Beaux Arts Trio that other piano trios had to look up to … Now it’s the Han-Setzer-Finckel triumvirate that is the standard bearer.” Reichel Recommends
Their program will include: the Trio in A-Major, HOB XV:18 by Haydn; the Trio in G-Major, Op. 1, No. 2 by Beethoven and the Trio in E-minor, Op. 90 (“Dumky”) by Dvořák.

Haverstraw Riverwide Arts and the Village of Haverstraw celebrate diverse culinary options with the 10th Annual Haverstraw Crawl Eats and Beats. 20+ restaurants. $5-$10 per plate. (RAIN OR SHINE)&nbsp;No tickets are required. Free live outdoor music by The Amish Outlaws (3:30pm-5pm), and Brianna Knight in the Craft Beer Garden On Broadway @Main. Joshy the Magician, Lali the Clown, face painters, and balloon twister for the kids. The Crawl begins in front of the Webster Bank lot, 38 New Main St. Food Crawl maps will be handed out to guide attendees throughout the downtown area. Stop at the NY CRAFT BEVERAGE GARDEN on Broadway and Main during your restaurant visit. This outdoor garden will feature local craft beer by Sing Sing Kill Brewery, Stony Point Brewing Co., Stone Yard Brewing, Rockland Cider Works. For the first time, we will showcase liquor from Black Button Whiskey, Hudson House Vodka, and Rock Valley Distillery Gin. 21 and up to enter. ID required. The NY Waterway Ferry will run 12-6pm during the Crawl between Haverstraw and Ossining. A free shuttle will pick visitors up from the Haverstraw landing and drop them off across from Village Hall, 40 New Main St., though the event is walkable along West Street to Downtown (6 blocks north - 12 minutes). Drop-off and pick-up during the Crawl is located at 40 New Main St. Village Hall, Haverstraw. Though the Crawl is from 1-5pm, the last ferry from Haverstraw to Ossining will leave at 8:20pm. The last shuttle from Village Hall to the ferry is 6pm. We expect large crowds so please plan accordingly. Parking: Across from Village Hall, 40 New Main St., and 56 Broad St. in the Knights of Columbus lot. New Main, Main, West St and Broadway @ Main st will be closed to vehicular traffic. Parking is also available on side streets.
