Traffic Alert: Taconic Ramp To 9A Will Be Closed Thursday

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, NY — If you're planning on starting your holiday weekend early, you might want to rethink your route out of town.

The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) said that the ramp from the Taconic State Parkway to State Route 9A northbound in Mount Pleasant will close for ramp maintenance.

The closures will take place on Thursday, May 23, between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m., weather permitting.

The NYSDOT is reminding drivers to slow down and drive responsibly in work zones. Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. Convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in a driver's license suspension.
