The Westchester Table Tennis Center's January Open Is This Weekend

Some of the best table tennis players in the world will come to Westchester this weekend to vie for $5,400. in prize money.

A special player, taking part in his first USATT tournament, will be Fouad Abdullah, a former #3 junior player in Iraq, who now lives in Maine. He and his family escaped from Mosul last year and landed in Portland. Four months later he won the Maine state table tennis championship.

The Westchester January OPEN Tournament is held at the Westchester Table Tennis Center, 175 Tompkins Avenue, Pleasantville, NY 10570. The tournament will be played on Saturday, January 24 - Sunday, January 25, from 10am to 7pm each day. The top players will compete on Sunday afternoon with the final taking place at approximately 6pm.
