Here are some positive reviews on the ActiveCaptain website.

  • “We like everything about this harbor. The 2 free nights on their mooring balls, the size and condition of the moorings, the water taxi, and the ambience of the Town. The shops are all within walking distance and the major supermarket has a dock across the road where the water taxi will pick up and deliver” – Oriental, North Carolina
  • “Port Washington does it right!! Only place I’ve been where you get the first 2 days free mooring right in front of the town, Dingy dock right in front of the supermarket (Proper one for big provisioning) laundromats, Westmarine and a nice spot to rest while the weather is not cooperating.” – Prospect, Nova Scotia
  • “Wow! I could have easily stayed a week here. Train into the big Apple takes just over half an hour. Provisioning was a piece of cake with the store opposite the launch dock. People are really friendly and they sure do make it easy on the wallet to stay.” – Green Cove Springs, Florida
