  • Call 911 or Port Washington Fire Department (number above) to report a downed electric wire and stay away from the wire.

Downed Trees and Street Flooding:

  • Call the North Hempstead Highway Department at (516) 571-6935 or (516) 571-6900 for night, weekends and holiday emergencies to report a downed tree, flooded road or other obstructions on your neighborhood’s streets.
