Warming Center in Roslyn Now Open

Residents are invited to seek shelter at seven warming centers across Nassau County this weekend.

With a winter freeze expected for Long Island this weekend, Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano announced several warming center locations will be open this weekend.

All residents who don’t have enough heat are invited to seek shelter at these warming centers, which will be open from Thursday to Monday.

Warming centers can be found at the following locations in Nassau County:

Cantiague Park Ice Rink
