How do you know the teacher?

She’s my daughter

What does this person teach?

Elementary Special Education

Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?

She goes overboard to make learning creative and fun for her students. Because she makes learning fun, she is able to make tremendous strides with her students who have learning disabilities. During Covid, she raised money to buy laptops for her students to ensure that they would be able to keep up with their school work. She makes such a mark on her students that many of them are still in contact with her years later.

What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?

She is kind, empathetic and truly concerned for her students well being and will do whatever it takes to make sure they succeed.
