ROCKVILLE CENTRE, NY – A multi-speciality urgent care and general medical practitioners’ facility is slated to open at two vacant storefronts on Merrick Road this summer.

The vacancies at 310 Merrick Rd., previously occupied by Better Home Health Care, and an adjacent unit, which housed part of the former Sky Athletic Club, are currently under reconstruction to create a single 8,000-square-foot medical facility.

Worth Property Group
brokered the deal for the building’s landlord to bring in the new business, the name of which Lauren Curcio, executive vice president of the White Plains-based real estate firm, said is “under confidentiality.” The new facility is expected to open within the next six months, she said.

“We feel that this synergistic mix of tenants is a town-serving tenant that will remain long term, providing in-person services for the local community,”Curcio said.

Worth Property Group also brokered the deal that brought in the neighboring Douglas Elliman real estate office at 304 Merrick Rd., a space that previously formed the other half of Sky Athletic Club. Douglas Elliman opened for business at that location in October 2020.
